This adventure tour through Baja is designed to provide you with an incredible experience, combining the best of Baja's Pavement with stunning sights, delicious food, beautiful beaches, and eco-tourism. While our primary focus will be on riding pavement, we may need to take short detours onto well-maintained dirt paths in some areas. These deviations can hardly be classified as off-road riding, more like traversing dirt driveways. The ultimate destination is Lands End in Cabo San Lucas, with stops at captivating locations and two exceptional marine parks along the way, promising an unforgettable trip for enthusiasts of marine life.

Meet UP Day

We will meet on Friday, November 7th, at the Tecate Border at 4:30 PM. You can exchange dollars for pesos at a nearby exchange. Our hotel is a short ride away. Check-in is at 5:30 PM, and dinner follows at 6 PM.

Day 1

Today starts with a early morning ride through the outskirts of Tijuana towards the coast. We will take the toll road from here to Ensenada. Often compared to the PCH, this section of Highway 1 sits right on the coast of the pacific ocean, for the entirety towards Ensenada. We will stop at a small overlook then head towards the city. With many miles to go, we will ride until we hit the beachfront hotel of Santa Maria.

Miles 210

Day 2

After one fun night at Santa Maria, we will head towards another beachfront hotel; this one being on the sea of cortez and what is my most favorite place in all of Baja! Bahia de Los Angeles is a magical bay town with stunning scenery and epic sunrises. But, to get there we will traverse from the pacific to the central highlands of Baja where the scenery changes dramatically. We will hit the plateau at about 3000 feet, which is home to one of Baja’s most epic protected areas. The home of the Cirio, a cactus that is almost out of some Dr. Seuss story. Margaritas on the beach tonight!

day 3

Waking up to one amazing sunrise, we will grab an early breakfast and make our way towards what is considered the central point of the Baja, a small colonial town with a beautiful spanish mission; San Ignacio. This small, oasis like town sits right on what is one of the 3 main rivers of baja that have water all year round. This small river provides lots of water for the nearby vegetation creating one amazing place that is a surprise from the typical Baja geography. We don’t normally stop for lunch often, as it can lead to some mid day tiredness, but one cannot simply ride pass Guerrero Negro and not try the delicious fish or shrimp tacos!

Miles 220

day 4

San Ignacio sure has some wonderful sunsets and sunrises, and the small town center makes this little town a gem! But we must move on and head south. Today is a bit shorter day, and we begin by descending one of Baja’s steepest roads before reaching the coast of the Sea of Cortez. We will ride along the coast all day to our final destination, a tranquil spanish colonial town. Loreto was the Capital of BCS before La Paz was chosen as the new capital. This town offers some Spanish vibe you can’t experience elsewhere, and again, the sunrises are just magical. You just can’t beat Baja!!

day 5

Today we are headed to La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur. To get to La Paz though we must cross over the central mountain range, and ride a section of Highway 1 that is considered to be the longest and straightest road in the world. We can make up a lot of time here and head in to the city early to relax and enjoy the calm Malecon. At night it gets quite lively and the weather is very enjoyable.

Miles 225

day 6

The end of the road, quite literally, today we will end up right on the beach overlooking the rock formation of the famous Lovers Cove. The ride to Los Cabos will be the longer and more scenic one, we will ride pass an old mining town with an incredible vibe. My goal is to stay at a nice resort right in the cove, this creates a great opportunity to fly your partner in and spend the rest of the weekend relaxing and enjoy what Cabo has to offer!

Home Bound

Its time to call it an end, today you get to sleep in, take your flight home, or go enjoy Cabo with your partner. I will be heading back up north this morning with the motorcycles loaded up on the truck and trailer. If you are looking to take a one way ride, i can haul your motorcycle back to San Diego and have it ready for you. Hoping to arrive in San Diego by Sunday. Cost will be $650 and the space is quite limited as i already have 3 bikes ready to bring back.
